Selina Yang, a girl who grew up in a small town in China, traveled across the ocean when she was 19 years old and flew to the UK for the first time to study. When she went to school, she would always pass by Bethnal Green Museum Garden in East London.
She always go to the sunny place in the afternoon, sitting on a bench in the garden, feeling the sun falling on her face, pigeons flying in droves, and the bells of St John’s church ringing in the distance, she found her harmonious moment.
The moment the bells rang, she knew that East London was in a sense her home too.
